CA Technologies is extending its recently launched CA Global Partner Program to include next-generation mainframe management solutions to help customers reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Available now to partners in North America, the mainframe offerings are expected to be rolled out globally to partners by the fall.

With the addition of Mainframe solutions, the CA Global Partner Program:

• Enables partners to deliver CA Technologies award-winning, next-generation mainframe management software to their customers to help reduce costs, sustain critical skills, and increase IT agility in the hybrid data center and the cloud.

• Extends CA Technologies partner offerings to customers with System z or zEnterprise hybrid architectures to enable the mainframe in private and hybrid clouds, extend management to support multi-vendor environments and empower improvements in cross-platform management.

• Supplies innovative Mainframe Modernization solutions, including CA Technologies revolutionary management workspace, CA Mainframe Chorus, a graphically rich, role-based approach to managing mainframe workloads. CA Technologies earned a “strong positive” ranking from Gartner for Mainframe Modernization.

The Global Partner Program includes financial incentives for partners to sell to new customers, and rewards them for establishing long-term relationships with customers along with the latest sales tools, training and marketing support.

“The mainframe plays a critical role for companies seeking to deliver reliable, high-quality services at low cost through a complex mix of computing platforms and cloud technology,” said David Bradley, Sr. VP, Global Channel Sales, CA Technologies. “Our next-generation mainframe capabilities help partners add significant value by minimizing computing costs to help their customers succeed.”

CA Technologies partners can view participation criteria and prerequisites to reselling CA Mainframe solutions on the MyCA Partner Portal, which contains targeted content including the latest sales tools, training and marketing support. The content is based on the member’s program level and go-to-market strategy.

Premier and Advanced members have access to dedicated sales support, enablement, assigned account management, and market and business development funds. The enhanced Global Service Center (GSC) is available to all members on the portal via Live Chat and provides a forum for program questions and knowledge sharing.
