Opsview announced the release of Opsview Monitor 5.2.

Version 5.2 introduces the new Opspack Marketplace, which allows users to easily source and share integrations to manage any technology or service, and UI and performance enhancements to help Opsview users work even faster. Opsview Monitor is ideal for dynamic, growing enterprises that need to monitor new technologies and view their entire IT environment from a single pane of glass.

Opsview Monitor now includes options to import and export Monitoring Plugins and configuration data straight from the UI. Opsview calls these ready-to-use integrations Opspacks. The combination of importing and exporting Opspacks with the new Opspack Marketplace allows Opsview users to source and share everything they need to monitor any technology or service.

Opsview Monitor 5.2 includes several enhancements to help IT administrators and the IT operations team work smarter and faster, these include the following:

- Up to 90% faster reload time after monitoring configuration changes are made, plus faster Dashboards

- Faster graphing and analytics improvements, driven by flexible data storage

- Quicker and easier Hosts and Services actions using 5.2 Mass Action improvements

The system response time improvements of Opsview Monitor 5.2 help save time, allowing IT teams to improve service uptime and team efficiency. Shamus McGillicuddy, Senior Analyst at Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), commented on the significance of these enhancements saying, “EMA research results show that enterprise network infrastructure teams use too many management tools, which makes them less effective at detecting and resolving network problems. Our research also shows that ease-of-use is a top requirement for network management tools. Opsview's expanded IT coverage and improved ease-of-use helps to address these problems."

The new capabilities of Opsview Monitor 5.2 are available now for all users of Opsview Monitor Enterprise, MSP, Pro and Atom Editions.
